You may be wondering what led me to recruitment…
It’s all about networking, right?! I truly believe people come into your life for a purpose. After reconnecting with a high school and college friend, Joanna (who just so happens to be one of the Owners of MJ Recruiters), I started my recruitment journey! Now, 16 years later, I am still proud to be part of a successful team, assisting with partnering technical and professional candidates with our manufacturing clients!
In the recruitment process, I am typically the candidate’s first point of contact. My goal is to understand their status, motivators and skill sets, and ensure we are working in the right direction for both them and our client and ultimately see them through the next steps of the process. My Grandma always said I had the “gift of gab”…now I get paid to do it!
My job is purpose-fulfilling, as I truly enjoy talking with candidates and getting to know them both professionally and personally. I love helping a parent secure a better work/life balance for their family, assisting a recent college graduate with securing their first full-time job, helping a displaced employee find new employment, and presenting career advancement opportunities! I go to work every day knowing that I can make a positive impact on those I work with! How rewarding is that?!
When I’m not in recruitment mode, I enjoy spending time with my family and crazy dog, Winnie! Outside of the office, you might find me on the pickleball court, cycling on the Peloton bike or watching sports (football is my fav…go Bucks)! My favorite vacation destination is Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. We all have guilty pleasures, right? Mine include new shoes, 80s music, true crime stories, and I must admit…emojis (don’t judge…they’re fun)!
