Would you believe me if I told you my recruitment career all started through a game of basketball?
My employer watched me play in high school and was impressed with my leadership on the court. And no, we weren’t an ALL STAR team…I ended my senior year with a losing record.
So, what got their attention? Relentless. No matter the score. That is the type of person I am. I left everything on the court game after game, and they took a chance that would carry over into my professional career. I started at MJ Recruiters as an intern during my senior year of high school, worked through college, and accepted a full-time position after graduating with honors in 2020.
Since taking over the role as Recruiter some of my responsibilities include sourcing and prescreening candidates, attending job fairs, and job postings weekly. Aside from being one of the initial points of contact for candidates, another area of focus is managing all aspects of marketing and social media for MJ Recruiters. I create all our marketing promotions from photography to design. I also create all our social media content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
